Working group “Culinary tourism

Idea & target:
Promotion of regional food tradition and integration of local products into the tourism value chain

Project start: November 2010

Project Partners: Carpathian Tourism Cluster Romania (lead partner), APDT Brasov, Asociatia Monteoru Renaissance, Asociatia Cautatorilor de trufe din Romania, Asociatia “Cele mai Frumoase sate din Romania”, several local food & beverage producers, wineries, distributers, hotels and restaurants 

Planned activities:

  • Development of innovative culinary tourism products
  • PR campaign to integrate local products into the tourism value chain
  • Development and promotion of local markets, culinary events and regional food exhibitions

First results: Development of the tourism product “Mobile Cooking Romania”
